Totally unrelated, BUT, being that the spirit of this thread is information for guys to decide wether to leave the regionals or whatever job they may be at, I wanted to share this.
I'm four year 747 FO pay. My small paycheck of the month (half of guarantee no per diem) is $2049. This means as an FO on fourth year pay, if I take my two weeks vacations the way God intended, that is, maximize days off, I make $4100 dollars for the month. If I do my PC on days on, conflicting my pattern, as God intended as to preserve ALL my off days, I'm looking at a third month of $4100 dollars for the month + a bit of per diem. There's one way and one way only to make money at Atlas, and that is to work above and beyond what would be required of you to work at a real airline and above and beyond what is healthy to work. Only then will you not be ashamed to compare W2s with your buds at the majors. Just omit the part where you work three times as much. It used to be a no brainer to leave the regionals for Atlas. I honestly don't think that is the case anymore. IMO.

In the interest of historical accuracy, I believe it was America West who bought the bankrupt USAirways although the better known USAir brand was retained ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America_West_Airlines
and then subsequently, it was USAirways that came to the rescue of the then bankrupt American. ... US Airways-American Airlines to merge - Feb. 14, 2013

I know the 5clowns very well, been coming there since 2005, when the holes in the hallway carpet were hallway-wide. If you laid in one bed you rolled left out of bed, you tried the other and you rolled right out of bed. Applebees had the worst food, Bayhouse was best. Now you mention it, I did get a few widebody-pay checks there, that sadly, were lower than what Globalpizzaman got.
4100 a month at 4 year pay is pityfull, do you have a lot of deductions?

America West didn't "buy" USAirways...... They didn't have two dimes to rub together. AW had one foot through the chapter 11 door when the "Merger" occurred. City bank financed the deal and arranged for the LCA stock issuance of the new "combined" company. It was a good deal for City Bank as well as both airlines.... They got to survive.
It's sorta like sayin someone bought a car or a house when they got a loan with "no money down"!
