Atlas Air Hiring
You must be taking a ton of deductions, I made over twice that just flying my regular line on first year pay.

If you only credit around 60-64 hrs of pay for a month... after deductions for family benefits, and federal and state taxes it works out to right around $2400-$2700 per month take home.

87 per hour X 60 = 5220
Not trying to take sides here, I'm definitely in agreement that Atlas is bottom of the barrel and needs to comeback to the negotiating table, but your saying that you have as much as 2780 in deductions on a monthly basis?

After deductions (including 10% to 401k) and being placed on R1 reserve, there isn't even per diem to count on. So yeah, if the numbers seem off to you, run them again at 79.60*50=$3980/month BEFORE deductions. Subtract 10% I'm at roughly $3582. It's real easy to have $1,000 worth of deductions for the month, leaving me with slightly more than $2500 for the month.
Trust me, I'm not trying to make up small numbers. The pay statements don't lie.
$1990 per check before deductions. That's first year pay at 25 hours per check. Remember, year one is a 50 hour guarantee.

It might be harder for guys who have been at Atlas to understand the low paychecks.
1 year ago extra flying was plentiful and the company would force you to stay out 1,2 or 3 days.
NOW, they might send you home early if you are on a reserve line. Happened to me in May and July.
