Can someone please help me re MyID travel

- any retiree benifits after X amount of service with Atlas

- is the list getting longer? Looks like there hardly any airlines on there compared to working for other carriers (my current one has over 100 ZED agreements)

You are trading zed benefits for the ability to collect miles and points. These days, air fare isn’t too bad and once you get status you will not think twice about non-reving for vacation. You still will have jumpseat privileges with all of the major carriers. This came in handy when I made a last minute decision to catch a earlier flight home and I had 10 minutes to make that decision.

To answer your question, I don’t have the exact list. It’s not very long…

Ok thanks for the info and fair enough. We have relatives all over the world and non-rev for us has been a huge money saver, and even with kids we have been doing so for years.

Do you pax that much in Atlas to make it worth collecting a lot of miles and gaining status? Didn't think the Gateway travel program would get you enough miles to make it worth.

We have been non-reving (even with kids) for years; mainly around Australasia and Europe and have been going alright.

Do you px at Atlas a lot on your roster to make it worth collecting miles or just through the Gateway arrangement?

I’ve sent in an application, still waiting to hear back. Just wondering if anyone here has experience flying both the 777 and 747? I think the 767 / 747 have both been covered but wondering about practicalities and QOL on the 777?

Gateway gets you some miles but at least on the 747 there’ll be some international DHs and since it’s business or better the miles add up. And about once or twice a year a positioning flight to or a return from Europe or Asia will get you to the higher levels of status.

As being a non-Aussie, I got this email from Atlas like 2 months ago. As they said they will contact me for additional information regarding my interview, it seemed like a positive email at the beginning. But as time pass, it started to sound like a negative one.
