Default Atlas Info

I found this website fairly helpful and provided information on the Atlas process and some of the flying operations currently there.

There are spelling and grammar mistakes in that information which is not a big deal, but does raise an eyebrow. The real problem with that information is the pay graphic is totally false and misleading.

the CA side is a bit optimistic given we have no 3-4 year 747 CAs, but for 747 FOs it seems low.

And the line “you will be guaranteed a business class ticket with united to fly to your point of call” when they are explaining gateway travel is also misleading.

Pay and fleet hours are way off. This looks like a third-party website that's taken some screenshots from the highly inaccurate compensation pamphlet that our company released some time ago. In this case, it drives traffic or customers to buy whatever services Easy Aviation Theory is selling.

We comment a lot about our company here. I think it's worth pointing out that there's a whole ecosystem of parasite business models that center on pilot desperation. Whether we're talking about interview prep companies, Youtube channels, resume review companies, etc. there's money to be made selling things to pilots who desperately want to get ahead. In this case a company that's offering to help Australians prepare for theory exams is using Atlas as a way to sell their wares. They haven't done their research, which is rather odd considering their product.

They asked me for my check and training records. Fortunately I worked for an airline where these were accessible. I assume its because working for a foreign carrier means you don't have any PRIA history.

Many of the most reputable carriers abroad will provide a verification of your hours, time on the job and latest PC and training events and the results of these events.

Is not something in great detail but short and sweet. That's all that is needed really, if you have been an instructor with these carriers, they tend to give details of how long where you assigned to that position and information if any of the people you trained and recommended for checking events did not pass these events.
