Will this crazy number of hiring at Atlas continue in 2023 as well or will it suddenly stop at some point?

Nobody can really knows the answer but just curious about insider's thinking

Either way, hiring has rarely slowed (short furlough if I recall). Recession or not is anybody’s educated guess, but as long as others like Brown/Purple are hiring there will always be considerable hiring to fill the gaps left behind to stem the tide of lost souls. Never underestimate the shoulders of Atlas globally. Hiring within our borders is hiring those who can escape easier into the open water. Hiring those living abroad lessons the escapees aspect of the entire catch and release landscape. It’s not just bodies/souls filling seats temporarily at best, it’s strategic.

By processing you mean you have filed your I-485 for AOS? You said elsewhere you already have the I-551. Be careful, even if you already have an EAD, you may not be allowed travel outside the US while your AOS is processing.

Btw, if you already filed your I-485, you'll likely get the residency a little faster than 12 months.

Both my parents were immigrants, and they completed naturalization as I grew up. One naturalized after winning the Green Card Lottery, then the other was on a student visa then green card for decades before naturalizing. There are ways to travel abroad and work as a Green Card holder, so don't let adminstrivia daunt you. You need to dot is and cross ts, but there is flexibility in the system.

That said, Dera highlights a relevant concern; You will want to make sure you have researched things thoroughly. It's worth spending a few dollars with an actual expert (an immigration attorney) to figure out your particular pathway.

As for July of 2023, who knows what hiring will look like? A lot of geopolitics can change between now and then. I'd focus on getting married and getting the family situation sorted. The hiring will be what it will be when you have (or nearly have) your status.

I've got an initial interview with Atlas in 2 days on Teams, is there anything I should know for it or is it more of a meet and great type deal?

Thanks!

‘If this is the phone screen, then it’s mostly on a get to know you basis and ask you some basic screening questions. Which then they will extend you a interview invite…

A phone screen is just that, it is done on the phone.

The Teams interview is in three parts;

Corporate Presentation (usually Monday)
HR interview
Tech Interview

Do yourself a favor….

Do not use that link…. But instead use aviationinterviews.com and the study guide Atlas sends you.

The Easy Aviation Theory prep has plenty of stuff wrong in it. But the Aviation Interviews page still talks about the Stansted base in the first few questions so don’t know about the rest of it.
