Does it show that you passed? If so, don't worry about it. They're going to tell you in the tech test review portion of your interview anyway.

Calls are now going out for a 744 class on September 12.

Anybody getting the call for the 76 class, yet?

It's gonna go like this;

Tech test review guy: "How do you think you did?"

You: "Not sure, says I passed"

Tech rest review guy: "Here's your score, you missed (this many) and got (this percent). Any idea on the areas you may have missed?"

You: (say whatever you want)

Tech test review guy: "Well, here's what you missed, lets go over them"

He'll tell you what you answered, then the right answer. Probably give a you chance to explain how you derived your answer, etc.

Bang, zoom, you'll be out of there and on to the next portion. Don't sweat it. Worry about how you're doing overall, NOT one little aspect of the multi phase process.

Sounds reasonable since you wouldn't be in Miami if you hadn't passed...most importantly do show some interest in the missed questions as an opportunity to learn.

All interviewers like that positive attitude, right?

Good luck.

Yup. That's pretty much the way it'll go. If you can remember any of the test and look up the questions you are unsure of in order to provide the correct answer at the interview, they will be very favorably impressed (there are numerous ways to "remember" those questions). That is if you miss any questions in the first place...

"Calls are now - (as of the date of that post) - going out for a 744 - (B-747-400) - class on September 12."

And to summarize the process ...

First, you send the resume and PAQ.
Then, you wait for the "phone interview".
Then, if and when they call AND you pass the phone interview, they will ask you to take the online test.
If you pass the test, they call you back in hours if you do well (days if you do ok, or weeks if they're desperate) and invite you to the interview in MIA.
Two weeks after the interview, you get the good/bad POOL letter from FedEx.
Then you wait again for days, weeks, or months (depending on your ranking with the other poolies) for a call with a class date.

I have heard rumors that there have been one or two type rated guys who have skipped the letter after the interview and gotten a class date right away but I have no confirmation or details about that.
