The forum does have a search function that works pretty well. Also, if one is serious about checking out Atlas then the best course of action is to grab some coffee, block out some time and start at post #1. There's a wealth of information here.

Thanks for the link and advice. I'm also posting just to meet the posting requirements to get full access to all the forums on here.

Talon,

You beat me to it...

Best course of action is to read the entire 494 pages, and keep coming back if you are interested for updates from recent interviewees, new hires, and us old guys.

Good luck, Epic (and others)

You can park at the crew hotel and ride with the crew or park in front of the Panalpina hanger. Park by the door with the Dixie Jet sign. Both are fairly safe.

No !!!!! Way too much talk of stopping by the "grill" (by guys hoping they're going to get preferential recommendations), how Atlas only hires the best and how "this sounds like the best company (subst job/training/planes/etc for company), in the whole world". Way too many pages of guys jokes about being in the pool (probably, 140 pages of just those posts!). So, rather than have you ask a question that's already been asked and having someone reply to "read ALL the posts" (as was done above); I will help you out (I copied this from post 4419 - you can scan the posts after that, as they are mostly BSing):

Here is a reposting of KYTBRD's post on 373. I have found in pretty useful. Thanks KYTBRD. And all the others that have shared on this thread over the years.

I have my own reference list of all the highlights AND I read the entire thread. It's really not that difficult, not as gripping as a good novel, but if it helps you get hired what a gift it is. The grillin' is easy to skim past. I'm hoping to get the call and chose to glean all I could from the folks willing to share.

Resume and PAQ are in, 2 internal recs, waiting for things to get rolling after the holidays.

OK . . . I'll bite. (Pun intended see if you can follow the post) So I was at the grill before my trip to South America and lot's of "knowledgeable" people there.

New 300's off the line from Boeing, seems to me they got tired of the trash 767's. I don't know, you tell me . . . how many people in the pool? How many starting in January? JC told us about the numbers plus upgrades already listed in previous posts. Why did the JC video state something, and something better comes through?

Oh, forgot to mention . . . I don't work on rumors. So figure the puzzle out. If you do, post it. Otherwise, when I wake up, enjoy breakfast, and see what changes are on my schedule, I'll help ya out. You ever know. . . this could be your next essay question.

One last clue. . . . I watch Springer every day!

Enjoy!
