Yes, breakfast was delicious, albeit not in Miami. Now it's off to watch some football via the internet.

So here goes: Plain and simple . . nothing for sure yet. But was at the grill talking to some folks and rumors were flying (get it?) about more stuff for DHL. Guess it hasn't been made official as I got a PM saying so.

So my bad. But watch next year starting in January as the classes start rolling in. Or at least that's official as of right now. See if these rumors come to fruition.

We had a saying at Omni. "Don't believe it until you are crossing 30W in it."

That is usually about the time that Atlas puts the press release out.

New 300's off the line from Boeing, seems to me they got tired of the trash 767's. I don't know, you tell me . . . how many people in the pool? How many starting in January? JC told us about the numbers plus upgrades already listed in previous posts. Why did the JC video state something, and something better comes through?

Oh, forgot to mention . . . I don't work on rumors. So figure the puzzle out. If you do, post it. Otherwise, when I wake up, enjoy breakfast, and see what changes are on my schedule, I'll help ya out. You ever know. . . this could be your next essay question.

One last clue. . . . I watch Springer every day!

Enjoy!
So YOU'RE the one....

If this is the rumor about the "signed for six additional -8's" I absolutely love it. My question is, if the deal is already done and some of "us" know about it, why the secrecy? In terms of secret keeping ability, telephone = tellapilot...same same...

If that wasn't you were hinting at, well, then, er, uhm, I mean, uh...move along...nothing to see here.....

Being a light twin guy (at least for the next 1 year and 9 months till my equipment lock expires!!) I'd like to think the posting by Polarfr8dog is referring to the 767 LAX base that is now available on the Standing Bid form...and the business (or rather new business) that the 767 is likely going to get.

At least that is what I got out of it...not additional 747-8Fs. BTW, the company cannot exercise options (I believe we own 12 options) until the firm orders for the -8s are delivered, and that is not going to happen until some time towards the middle of 2013.

So here's what we know:

a) There is a pop-up class of 10 starting the 17th of December that was dropped on the Cristal (Like the bubbly grammar nazis) Palace
2) There is a new base/plane combo randomly placed on standing bids
  • Rumot of 2 763Fs for Duey Huey and Louie (which would require about 5 crews per for domestic work)

Either something is quickly taking form or; there is a very well designed collusion to figure out who posts what on the APC mega-thread.

At any rate: Welcome to those of you who start! Look forward to seeing ya'll around the campus.

Other rumors claim they're 763 pax birds, not freighters. Also heard a standing bid award is imminent.

Time will tell.
