Default Experienced applicants be prepared...

Had a recent interview coming from previous 121/135 experience. Most of the gouges are now out of date and not that useful. If you have turbine experience/time you are held to higher standards of part 121 rules and systems knowledge. Do not expect the interviewers to know the aircraft you've been flying & this could be a bad thing as it may be much different than CRJ/EMB120 systems. I would also suggest a carnal understanding of exception 3585. For more info feel free to PM me...

They've been hiring for over 6 months I think, and they are hiring until further notice. Somebody said 300-400 next year. The APC profile is obviously very out of date.

I'm coming from the part 91 corporate side of things and have an interview next week or so. I just meet atp mins and been flying jets for the last 3 years but haven't done any 121 flying. Guess I better start getting into those 121 regs! What else should I prepare for if they hold me to a higher "jet pilot standard". Also would I have a better chance of getting in on a crj or is everyone going to the BRO?
Thanks!

The interview gouges on Airline Apps are pretty much right and exact.

Droops, send me a private message or find me on facebook... The gouges are insufficient for those with jet or turbine PIC coming from a non-part 121 environment. Those who are fresh ATPs or CFIs are held to a different standard in the interview at Skywest and in that case the gouges are very helpful. I would like to help you out if I can.
