Interns don't fly the airplanes. They might let an intern fly a simulator.

This indicates that he has made very little or no progress towards becoming a commercial pilot.

A student pilot would not be granted an airline flight operations internship, he would most likely need a commercial pilot certificate first.

An internship would not show up on the FAA's database regardless.

I would certainly demand a better quality of lies for all that money, a good education should yield a more polished set of lies.

Flight Ops internships are arranged through university programs.
