Very low time compared to the new hires I've been flying with.

Keep flying. Make sure you have recent experience.

I always knew the system was screwed up with the "powers that be" making bad decisions.

I was told (at age 16) that I would have a REALLY hard time getting hired at a major if I had a bad driving record. I was extremely careful and showed up with no tickets.

Now, good old Doris would think that I'm hiding something.

I don't think Doris cares one iota about the tickets. She doesn't program the parameters for who gets picked. She was just telling me what looked good and what didn't look quite right.

Sorry I even mentioned it.

He didn't state total time. Seems like 2200 TPIC is not low at all.....

Most of the recent hires I have met were regional CA's for seven to ten years or more.

Default LORs in AirlineApps

Hey folks
UAL pilot friend of mine wrote an LOR and sent it to Ops. Apparently they sent it back (or something, I didn't ask) and told him to send it thru AirlineApps.

I have been thru every page, and can only find a section for references, no LORs.

Am I missing something, or do I have to wait for the "call" (or email I suppose)

Thanks!!!

At top of their addendum page, you put in your LOR's email address and airline apps sends a link to them which looks like it is from United. You can see them in the same area once done.

No sheet. I just busted 1000 TPIC and I've been on property for 19 years! Tough crowd. jeez. I guess I'm good for that SWA app now.

No sir. No sim eval but there is a technical side of the interview where they ask you to chair fly a flight with a packet of fallouts they send you two weeks before the interview. Very laid back and seemed to be a personality exercise vs a true technical interview. Just google for the gouge and it will come up.
