If you (K4) are going to leave, just get on with it. Leave. The bottom line is, K4 signed an agreement that all the 1224 carries agreed to and signed. It only takes 50%+1 cards - so go.

K4 Crews 4 Fairness has proceeded with the decertification process. They have received far more than 50% of the required signatures.

Cards were submitted to the NMB. They are in the process of verifying the signatures.

Once that is done, a vote will be taken to decertify.

K4 Crews 4 Fairness is suggesting that the K4 Pilots write in ALPA as their union choice.

NMB has emphasized with the representative of K4 Crews 4 Fairness that regardless of who is representing the K4 Pilots the contract is in no way effected.

Sorry to see the Teamsters handle this situation so poorly. Perhaps it is in fact time to go as has been suggested by some on this thread.

All K4 Pilots will be receiving the update via USPS soon. I was unable to post a copy of the update on this website after receiving the update this Morning.

Joining ALPA will be a big mistake.

That may be a non issue, The 1224 Attorneys are saying that they have come to a non-poaching agreement with the AFL-CIO. If thats the case, this issue is over. However, I hope its not the case. If K4 pilots really want to leave for ALPA then 1224 should let them go.

Yeah so let's join a union with FedEx, United, Delta, Alaska, and Hawaiian. Smart...I'm sure our voices are going to be heard loud and clear. :sarcasm:

I for one am crazy excited to join the DHL whipsaw. It's going awesome for ABX and ATI.

This whole thing is mind boggling...grass isn't always greener.

Whether its perception or reality, the K4 guys I talk to all seem to have the same consensus. Something that needs to be addressed. I think the best solution would be to move Atlas to their own local, or K4 to another local. That would be a win/win for everyone. Heck, there are rumors I'm hearing from friends at Atlas that there is subtle support for them to decert as well. 1224 needs to take an honest look at what's going on.
