One thing you can be sure of. ALPA will take out entire CBA and toss it. They will want to rewrite it for ALPA standards.

Maxjet, you and I come from the same place, different times. I came later, after they got the scope clause to prevent what had happened. If you recall, ALPA is not a union, but refers to itself as a “pilot association”. It’s no secret that it’s every pilot group for themselves and national just wants your due money, no unity. Ironically, the thing you hate most about 1224, stems from having strong unity. Either have too much of it with 1224, or none at all. If Fed Ex was to benefit with our demise, or ATI’s, you better bet ALPA will give advice leading to that situation. Comair?
ALPA is teamsters, but with limp dicks instead of baseball bats.
Please name anything that 1224 has done for us that would have not been done at any other Union.
I am reading about how ALPA took various Airlines and sacrificed them for the interest of another airline. This I don’t agree with at all. The irony is that 1224 has done it to us, and now Omni. Why is it OK for the Teamsters to do it?
There are no competing airlines in the ACMI segment at ALPA. This is why I think it is the safe place to be for an ACMI carrier

Really? This is false. You will see when you receive the update if you are a K4 Pilot.

This may be true. Guess what? We will be the larger ACMI airline

I have to agree with this. Weren't all those other airlines that didn't do so well with ALPA either passenger carriers who were competing or flying feeder services for the big boys? We'd be the big ACMI carrier.

Well, this is outside my control. My feelings have been stated, all I can do is cast my vote. If the Teamsters go away, do we still keep our loss of license insurance?

Not true. We still have time for a thoughtful and learned discussion of the pros and cons of all of the proposed options. Unfortunately, details and plans from all parties are sorely lacking. I am undecided on what I will do at this stage and am withholding a decision until the last possible moment so that I can consider all rational arguments.

What's going to be really awesome is when we decertify and ALPA doesn't take us...
