Actually, I'm not sure that Allegiant is hiring at the moment. But ATI is....and I hear that they travel on their work days.

ATI has Home Basing, so I believe that means they only travel on their days of work...

Looks like we have solved Boeing Drivers problem! I’m sure he won’t be miserable at ATI. Good teamwork everyone.

I’m not referring to myself....I’m a 76 driver living in CVG bidding RSV.

Are you saying a new hire won’t expect to be in ANC on r2 doing 17 days and commuting up 2 days prior ?

Furthermore most of our new hires will be living in the lower 48. After they complete their pattern, Its highly likely to expect at least 12 hours of “commuting” home due to flight schedules.

The latest Vacancy award has slots for 30 some new hires to ANC.

Come on over and see for yourself.

I have never commuted anywhere 2 days prior. But then again, I have never been extended either. If you bid smart, and request travel that makes sense, what you’re saying will never happen. None of which has anything to do with ATI.

True this is not an ATI thread but leaving 2 days early can and does happen. It depends on where you start and where you are going. Getting to Anc from the east coast in the winter can be an all day event coupled with a plus ten hour arrival window. Depending on how airline times line up you could find yourself leaving 2 days early. Bidding better helps but sometimes people get caught on the backside of the wave and end up being the bottom guy for a while up there.

This probably was answered many pages ago but if hired does ATI pay for housing during training or how does one save some money during the training process which I’m guessing is about three months.

Are you talking about your hotel while at training? If you are, then yes. ATI will handle all your travel and housing needs while away at training. There is also no training pay, your getting paid your full F/O rate and per diem day one of indoc.
