Thanks for the info! Did they mention how many they are hiring? The rumors I had heard were around 100-120

For an interview or a class date?

I know that applicants from the December window have interviewed. Not sure if they have been called for a class date though.

I was wondering about being called for an interview. I know after the June window people were hearing from them after about 10 weeks and was curious if it would be a similar timeline. Thanks for your help!

Rumor on the line here is that the final number will be closer to 180 for 2021.

Nah. My information says hiring is about to come to a screeching halt.

You are one of the more level-headed ABX guys. What exactly are you hearing?

Before or after the 3/1 class.

I think the “ABX guys” part of of your post about sums it up.

From what I understand indeed we are set to get close to 180 pilots in 2021. Of course that is rumors, but based on what we are seeing and reading, there really isn’t reason to believe otherwise. That said let’s watch the year progress and see where we’re at.

I agree with NeverHome and a few others on here. ATI is sched to receive 5 a/c during the first half of this year from the most recent ATSG AMZ contract of 10 planes. I also believe...well "speculate" (howz that), the remaining 5 planes to be delivered in the latter half of the year will be assigned to ATI. While ATSG hasn't made any official announcement as such I think it will go that route. If so, it will definitely signal that ATSG/AMZ do not intend to expand ABX with AMZ opportunities, and most likely when contracts expire on the six aircraft ABX (all 200's) operates for AMZ they will not be renewed (AMZ isn't too big on keeping 200's).

Therefore, ATI will most likely continue expansion in crew force to meet these opportunities.

Ya heard it hear first....but time will tell either way.

Not sure if he was referring to ABX’s projected hiring plans, but...

We (ATI) have hired 40 so far for ‘21. I include the late Dec ‘20 class because originally it was supposed to be the first class for ‘21. With the projected March 1’st class of 30, that will bring us to 70 new hires for ‘21. The more realistic hire number for ‘21 was always 110-120 so we are half way there.
