Wouldn’t they also need some pretty sensitive radar to even know they’re locked on by a missile?

Not how that particular system works. You basically bolt it on and it’s purely automatic. No real pilot involvement. Doesn’t work against the kind of radar guided missile the Russians used to shoot down the airliner over Ukraine.

You guys do realize FedEx has patents on several inventions and this is just another way to create revenue?

El Al aircraft on the other hand have been equipped with anti-missile systems for many years. I don't have a photo of an El Al jet with a missile hole in it.

And they don't have 321's

It was on MD’s as part of a test program.
