Anyone care to speculate if folks are going to get pushed down and out of their seat? I suppose if there is technically a "vacancy" then we should be OK...right? We'll just lose some seat seniority.

Letter from PC.
Letter from Capt 0.
New posting.
You expect a letter from the MEC?
I bet we get a letter from JL first if he isn't too busy in 727 S/O school. He will probably be allowed to drop out no harm, no foul though, and go to MD school again.

The only thing positive in this latest bid: 149 vacanies will allow most of the over 60 guys to move back to the front row. On the negative side, the over 60 crowd will dominate the future bids here at FedEx..... our only chance on seeing any movement in the near future is with the FDAs.
Here's part of DW message last week:
Referencing VP Flight Operations Paul Cassel’s FCIF regarding future plans, the company has been stating for several months that the operation is overmanned. This FCIF documents those statements by the company. We have been assured by the VP of Flight that the measures outlined in his plans are strictly due to economic reasons related to a slowdown in business and subsequent manning issues and that there isn’t any hidden agenda. We will continue to monitor the situation and remind the company, if required, of contractual issues regarding this matter.
To me, this looks like a hidden agenda: get as many over 60 ROPES back to the front row!!!!!

If you don't think our old buddy Jack isn't involved in this you're being incredibly naive. He got exactly what he wanted..back in a left seat without the embaressing stop in the back seat. He even started class when he thought he would have to be a "required crew member." When he realized that he didn't ahve to do that he dropped out immediately. Maybe the next FCIF will be that he is getting his old desk back. And all at MD pay rates instead of SO rates. Way to go Jack......

Yeah, we're fat in every seat, we might have to reduce BLG and/or furlough, but suddenly we can add 6 Mem MD-11 and 12 Mem Bus Captains to a bid we just basically canceled.
But hey, we did add 3 more Captains in HK and CDG.
Does anybody need any more proof of the fact that DW and the current MEC are working a bit too closely with the company?
Anybody?
The pillaging just keeps going and going and going.

GC posted that thinking it applied to his fake disability.. I think he is wrong he didn't withdraw from class, but JL did. I bet GC has a miraculous recovery from his shoulder injury, and I wonder where Zero will let JL return too? 727 s/o or MD-11 Capt? I just wonder. I'm sure he'll stay in his current mgmt position for a year or so then show up on the Mad-dog list without a bid. Just a guess.

You starting to catch on yet JJ about how the negative ramifications of the rule change will reverberate through the pilot group for many, many years?
You keep making light, all is well in your world, you get to come on back.
Others, however, have taken a major step backward and won't forget the MEC or the company working together to facilitate it.
Unity my arse.
