If the guys bidding the FDA's didn't know it was a 5 year sentence, you can't say we didn't warn them. That error is on them.

The fun has just started. Notice how the DC10 excess bid is going to come after the vacancy bid, instead of the other way around.

I wonder if the DC10 excess bid will be followed by an excess bid for MEM wide CAs and FOs

Well, he could have gone to class in seniority but he was doing some work for the COMPANY (negoiating hotel contracts or something) so the COMPANY let him skip his original class date for a year and paid him passover pay then let him in class at his or their discretion. Who knows? Like I said I'm sure it was on the up and up. I'm sure he is not beholding to the compnay at all.

If I was a non-member, why would I pay 2% of my salary to the union?

No, I am a member, albeit a somewhat disgruntled one. I will continue paying my 2% because the answer isn't to quit, but rather to get involved. Maybe when I get really disgruntled I'll get involved.
