See my post on "why would the company have to tape our meetings" since the union position and the company position are indistinguishable. It must be part of our "business relationship".

If they put in their request and prior to it being filled someone else picks up that trip, then the computer doesn't know how to revert that person back to sub. Now how this scenario would occur if the requests are real time didn't make sense to me and when I questioned the 5000 number as sounding WAAAY out of line. I was told that he had a great working relationship with this company expert and why would he question the guy who is the expert? I tried the obvious "we don't even have 5000 trips in open time every month" but he seemed put out that I thought he should question an answer given by the expert. So I don't hold out for this one going through anytime in the near future.
Time to run up the Bravo Sierra flag. If the person is trying to use OTP then he has refused SUB and is not going back into SUB status - he is in OTP status. Also, if it only happens once in 5000 times how is that so bad? There are plenty of other inefficiencies that happen around here that are way more costly and never get fixed! This all boils down to a control issue and taking away the ability to provide special favors to a select group of pilots!

Another day of retropay, blah blah blah. We got squat. I must admit that I was happy it was over. I bit hook, line and sinker that we were getting a good deal with the new trip rig...Should have known that the company was laughing its' a$$ off at us.

Been all over the block with CE, they tell me it is a historic problem that can not be grieved. I tell them that NO it is a problem since FOX took over expense reports. The company and CE win I lose.
Buy your ticket with Tripmanager, then deviate after the company buys your scheduled ticket. Your bank will be the actual "scheduled fare" price. Been doing this since the new system came out and it works every time. For some reason, it only works if you use the tripmanager online to purchase the ticket vice Corp Travel.

Nope I do this. As soon as I deviate the scheduled ticket disappears and my actual travel bank takes a hit. Again a violation of the contract that and CE says ho hum. I have saved screen shots of before and after I will post later.

You're right--went back and looked at some of my previous exp reports and they do change back to the accepted fare. Fortunately, hasn't been an issue for me, but I never noticed they actually changed back!

How about sending the money from Wet Lease to the pilots instead of the union? How long since we every saw a check from the company's wet lease payments to the union?

5000 has got to be a BS number! He's saying on average, there are over 1+ OTP/Sub requests per pilot on property per month?

I actually did this in Nov and a couple days after I deviated the fare changed back to the scheduled! I even took screen shots, but they are on my dead Dell.
