See my post on "why would the company have to tape our meetings" since the union position and the company position are indistinguishable. It must be part of our "business relationship".

According to the new NC chair the reason we cannot implement this right now (the software allows it) is because, according to the company expert, there is a sub glitch that the software doesn't cover. The company guy says that 5000 time every month this glitch occurs. The glitch is when a person is in sub and tries to use OTP to pick up a trip. If they put in their request and prior to it being filled someone else picks up that trip, then the computer doesn't know how to revert that person back to sub. Now how this scenario would occur if the requests are real time didn't make sense to me and when I questioned the 5000 number as sounding WAAAY out of line. I was told that he had a great working relationship with this company expert and why would he question the guy who is the expert? I tried the obvious "we don't even have 5000 trips in open time every month" but he seemed put out that I thought he should question an answer given by the expert. So I don't hold out for this one going through anytime in the near future.

Another day of retropay, blah blah blah. We got squat. I must admit that I was happy it was over. I bit hook, line and sinker that we were getting a good deal with the new trip rig...Should have known that the company was laughing its' a$$ off at us.

Yes. My scheduled ticket for MEM-MDT 10 Feb is $381. The accepted fare is $326. As soon as I deviate the bank for the trip will drop from $381 to the accepted fare of $326. Been all over the block with CE, they tell me it is a historic problem that can not be grieved. I tell them that NO it is a problem since FOX took over expense reports. The company and CE win I lose.

Buy your ticket with Tripmanager, then deviate after the company buys your scheduled ticket. Your bank will be the actual "scheduled fare" price. Been doing this since the new system came out and it works every time. For some reason, it only works if you use the tripmanager online to purchase the ticket vice Corp Travel.

You're right--went back and looked at some of my previous exp reports and they do change back to the accepted fare. Fortunately, hasn't been an issue for me, but I never noticed they actually changed back!
