NAC and Aloha Cargo will merge onto one cert by end of next year.
First 767 will be delivered to Aloha in Nov. Pilots already in training.
Next 2 767s show up first quaryrr 2018.
They have TA for 737, still working on 767.
First yr FO, $70/hr

Interesting. How are you guys going to prove 180 ETOPS? It doesn't just come with the lease. Good luck.

Is the 767 expected to go junior or senior? Also, what would competitive mins be?

It's gonna be flying around empty until they get that.

First, Aloha Airline was the first company to get ETOPS for the 737, so they know what they are doing.
Second, plan is to fly on the mainland until the paperwork is done.
Plan to hire about 40 next yr.

I assume this is too far out, but any idea on a schedule for the 57/6? Two weeks on, two weeks off? On the table?

HA! Contractually, NAC pilots are required only 12 days off per calendar month (not a 28 day bid period). I wouldn't expect anything more than that. There is no training program for the 767 at NAC (the surviving certificate). They just lost a highly qualified Manager of Training because they tried to slash his pay by a substantial amount AFTER offering him a job.

They're trying to hire people into a base (MIA) and an aircraft (767) that are both a long way from being a reality.

People are leaving NAC in droves to go to Alaska and Atlas. You may want to ask yourself why that is before applying.

Yup.. Incident: Westjet B763 near Calgary on Aug 27th 2017, airspeed disagree

Not sure if subject aircraft was leased to WJ from ATSG. I do know that ATSG got some ex- Qantas 767-338 aircraft. Subject aircraft was idle in storage for some period prior to flight.

This is a passenger aircraft. I'm having trouble connecting the dots.

CAM, the ATSG subsidiary that does aircraft leasing, stands for "Cargo Aircraft Management". They're in the business of buying 767s, converting them for cargo use, and then leasing them. So in all likelihood, that was not a CAM aircraft.
