FDX-Overmanned?

Haven't heard a peep--has anyone else changed their option since 31Dec? I had an amazing New Year's Revelation that turned into a Resolution. I pledged to do all I legally can, within the RLRA and CBA, to help my fellow FedEx pilots, especially those lowest on the list. I sleep very well at night.

Haven't been called in 8 years, since I marked the "Do not call option" in VIPS. Of course I had a problem getting dates in high school, not aware I ever checked the "do not date" option. Hmmm...

My point wasn't to dime anyone out...my point was to show we might not be quite as overmanned as we are being led to believe.
I can't wait to see next month. Reserve lines are even less.
I don't have the contract in front of me, but if we furlough, doesn't DFT & VLT goes bye-bye?
In just this thread alone, we have 4 planes not moving unless they DFT.

727memphis, Sometimes that is the only thing the company understands. It gets the attention from up high on why a plane did not move. Look at the past when the MD11 FO's did not fly extra and they had to stop moving planes. We got a contract pretty fast. If they can keep moving planes by drafting guys do you think the senior management cares as much? Sure it is a $ to the company which I do not like, but I do not like it either when the company plays hard ball to the detriment of the pilot group and the company just to make a point.

, the airplane does not turn a wheel! As long as the boxes make it to the destination, there is not a problem. You do not lose!
