It is not odd. The company cut the reserve lines in half to dilute our BLG. There are very few reserves to cover trips and particularly when there is a weather event that disrupts the system. I am sure they are OK using some draft when needed versus paying more reserves. Reserve is a not a good deal now for most seats.....
I wonder how many hours we are flying compared to a year ago? This is important for this grievance. Are we flying much less or is the company scheduling us more efficiently? Cutting reserves is certainly adding to efficiency as well as optimizing our schedules.....
