What is "bad for the company [you work for] over the long term" is bad for you as well. If you really want to "support Amerijet pilots," cancel your cable subscription and maybe your lawn service, and get out your checkbook. And fly your trips, wherever they may be scheduled.

A pilot who is on the street or out of the business altogether is of NO use to the cause.

I'm not commenting on the validity of a union I fully understand why they're needed I'm just asking this because honestly I don't know the answer and there are a few non-union carriers out there, both 135 and 121, that could make the matter much more difficult.
Struck freight is struck freight. One cannot hide behind the union/non-union flag. If one fly's struck freight they are a Scab, period. Union or non union. If you get fired or have to quit to not fly struck freight, well, that is what one does. Anyone who flys AMJ freight while they are on strike should be added to the list.

1. In a simular situation years ago, the pilots at my non-union carrier got together and simply told the company no, we won't scab.

2. Your question is yet another great reason to unionize. A right that Amerijet is trying to take away from there pilots. Unions take the fear out of making decisions like this.

3. There are only two sides to this issue. Are you a scab or not? There is no grey area.

Looks like they've been using a Lear to move crews around. As a furloughed airline guy flying charter would it be considered scabbing to move the crews?

As much fun as it would be to tell this guys to **** off, it would almost certainly be the end of my job (and knowing my sleazy boss, a lawsuit).

Any thoughts?

AJT just got off a 767 flight using the Canadian company Cargojet. The pilots getting on the flight refused to even look at the pilots and other union supporters pleading with them not to cross the line. They knew what they were doing and will suffer the consequences. Never thought a Canadian company would swoop down and take American struck freight. New low for Canadian labor. Oh, well, let's see how many times they can pull this off. They better not use Miami hotels. AJT is also using different staging areas for their scabbed pilots. They were chased for a while, but got away. Sooner or later, their staging places will be located. Shame, shame, you rat pilots.

Whoa. future or current management here. Non Union Pilots have successfully not crossed pickets before, they do have to work together.
you do have to make it clear that as agroup you won't participate.

I would call the IBT local and tell them where you picked them up and dropped them off and names if possible. They might be violating the FAR duty times being flown into a trip.

2004 updated list. It's actually been updated this year (for the CAL scab who died at the controls) but I don't where it might be on the web.

Yeah, that does. I'm trying to formulate a blastmail for the pilots at XJT. Is there a specific SPC chair or MEC chair that I can e-mail quickly? Good luck, guys!
