Senior management seems pretty out of touch. It's hard to imagine things getting better here until they smell the proverbial coffee. When that will happen is open for debate.

They just transitioned to a new HR system for pay and benefits and completely botched it. It looks to me like nobody received their extra pay for December. I expect some emails soon apologizing and asking for 'patience.'

Paperwork is straight out of the 1980s although they swear electronic releases are coming soon. I think middle management is mostly trying to modernize the airline but not being given the resources they need.

Is it terrible? No. Is there somewhere else you can fly wide-bodies on mostly short domestic legs in your first year? I don't think so.

Is there any indication as of today that it would be a good place to plan to retire from? No. Will the job market force them to fix that? Hard to say. One can hope but that is a poor career planning strategy if one has other options.

We experienced issues with UltiPro on the ABX side this week, as well. Did payroll forget to pay per diem on your checks?

Yeah but that’s normal here regardless of the software they use.

Thanks. I meant more in general though. What is the timeline to get your schedule? And is it always for a 56 day cycle?
