Exactly! Don't rely on this or any other forum to get your information. Some of what I have read on the B&G has been partially or totally misinterpreted. The Sick Pay issue comes to mind as I addressed in a previous post. I am truly amazed at the number of people who still do not know some of the basic rules of the current contract. That's been in place for 8 years now. Some of these same people then come out and say this TA is a POS. Maybe it is, but it's only been out for a few days. Okay, a few months if you count the leaks. My point is how well have you really studied it? Read and study the WHOLE contract, go to the road shows, ask lots of hard questions, and debate the issues with your friends and fellow IPAers without emotion. Only then will you be able to make an educated and informed decision.

Think of the Whole Contract for Whole group, not yourself.
Oh you mean just like the captains were thinking about FOs when they voted in the last contract with the B scale for FOs? Yeah, I am sooooo sure you are thinking of my well being when you cast your vote. Riiiiiight. Buddy, don't put me in a category like that when you know nothing about me. Of course, being a chick, hired with UPS under no standards whatsoever, you can't expect much less out of me can you? Trust me....I don't know which way I am going yet but I too am sick of working 2 jobs, I could use the 40K right now and a 10-15K raise every year BUT I don't want to be selfish either.

Hey Idiot, get your facts straight. I have been an FO for 12 years, so I have taken the whole B-scale to heart. Not one year like you and Sinfield. 12 years!!! And I Voted NO in 1998, so kiss my butt. And you will be redeemed if you Vote No, we'll maybe. And your bonus will be taxed and spent long before you figure out how Art. 13 is screwing everyone.

Default Ups Ta

If we vote against it, the total cost of the contract will simply be reallocated. UPS will not sink any more $$$$ into it. Someone, in your words, will GET SCREWED. Actually, overall, it is a very good contract. Fedex will not get anymore.

Hey buttstain!
Get your facts straight. If you would read everything I write instead of seeing what you want to see in your narrow little mind, you would see that I SAID I DON'T KNOW HOW I AM GOING TO VOTE because I AM NOT JUST LOOKING AT THE MONEY! OK BUTTSTAIN?!?!?!?!?

Default yes vote, I admit

It's not a bad contract. It underdelivers on many fronts, but it's not a bad contract.

I'm voting yes as it stands now. I've had a change of heart after an extensive reading of the T/A.
