Still missing the point, bureaucrats have done a far better job of subjugating the great mass of people around the world than any enemy or any army, this has been largely welcomed. We have been our own worst enemy. Not a shot has been fired. Much has been surrendered.
You are confusing the sideshow war with the real struggle. My objections are not directed at war, but at surrender.

One of two things are happening here. First is that you realized that your initial comments were pretty silly and an inaccurate representation of our world conflict, so you needed to metaphor your way out of admitting that you simply had too many beers. Second is that you delight in conversing in riddle and metaphor thinking that you are helping your fellow man by forcing them to read between lines and give all new meaning to words. Only you know which one it is.
When I would like to climb from FL350 to FL370, I call atc and say: "request climb to FL370." I get the feeling you say: "get thee conflicting traffic from thy path you subjugating bureaucrat for I do not accept your confining my path to FL350 and must reach higher." To which I'm sure they would think: "What the **** did he say?"

OK. So when you initially said: "Just a comment on the current times. Times that have the world going Jihad and burning the books of one another..." And then talked about how the actions of enemy combatants are based on mutual subjugation...What you were really doing was cautioning us against willingly subjugating ourselves to bureaucrats?

In the end you lost a bit of civility by insisting on your own interpretation, only to find it was the same as mine. Words get in the way of a good fight sometimes.

The funny thing is, you were right there with me the whole time. Your take on things is very close to mine, you just have a hard time saying it.

Your thought process is actually a lot more conventional than you know. You believe in everything, and nothing - at the same time. Then assert that others lack interpretation processes when you need to walk a silly comment back. I see this thought process most in the left wing halls of academia, but you do present a touch of libertarianism - which is good.
I've enjoyed the debate, but I'll now return the thread to you so that you can make whatever point you were trying to make.

That's not pot...that's evidence of inhaling distillates or simple spray paint. Today Jungle sounds like that loon Carl on the B & G lately who I think drinks paint. An interesting play on monikers at least.

We agree on government being too large and intrusive, but disagree on nearly all else. I do not agree that our fight against jihad is just senseless reciprocal violence, and I certainly don't agree that the world has gone jihad because it implies equivalence between actions of the civilzed world and the actions of jihadists.

Good fun in the internet tradition. What passes for debate is more closely related to the special Olympics.
