Mods have an opinion and they can share it, just like you. How is that not fair?

One may recall that ancient axiom, no matter how much spin you put on a chunk of fecal matter, you can't pick it up by the clean end, nor can you polish it.
Don't be so hard on yourself Jungle.

Ah......actually I don't. Maybe in your version of what happened. What happened was it wasn't even brought to the membership once he was in office. What was voted on and approved was the cobra benefits for the crew members on furlough. Funny how you are even confrontational when presented with just plain facts.

I think he found that it was DOA and didn't put it forward because it would be counter productive.

No argument there. Just pointing out how some people seem to like to restate the facts of what happened.

It was DOA before it made it that far, that means the leadership roundly rejected the proposal after floating it for opinion. The plain facts are that it would have probably caused a class action lawsuit had it gotten any further than that, but it was deemed politically expedient to make the gesture, does your story really differ from mine?

I'm not saying they don't have valid points. I'm saying that in 6 years at UPS, I've been treated pretty well and am happy. The obvious exception being this furlough and the rejection of the MOU. I'd love to know UPS' thought process on that.
Ignorance is bliss I guess. If I were in your shoes I would feel the same way. Good pay. Good work rules. Good Union. Getting dumped in Anchorage, then selling everything you have because you can't afford to move it.....that is another story. I guess life is only a mirror of ourselves. Hopefully this lunacy will end soon.

Of course I would not want to be a manager during this peak. Don't expect to be home over Christmas or Thanksgiving. Enjoy the pay. Happy Holidays.

Any luck finding those phantom posts? I thought not. I gave to the MOU and supported the cause and you knowingly lied about it.
