You'll get another chance in the year 2015.
Throw them out because now that we have this deal, the next problem is going to be administering it. Throw them out for the incompetency that they have shown us in there day to day administration of this union. There will still be a lot of wheeling and dealing, and these people have shown us that they don't have what it takes to make reasonable deals or be honest with our group.

As for 2015, why does that number keep coming up? Please don't make me any more depressed. It is amendable in 2011, no?

A two to three year stall seems to be the industry norm, I can only surmise this trend will continue.

Man, you are really taking this too personally aren't you? Well Zoro, if this contract is as bad as you claim it is, just remember that nobody is holding a gun to your head making you stay here. You are free to quit and pursue other avenues. So you have a choice: either you can stay here and pi$$ and moan to anyone who will listen; or you can quit. Unless you quit I think it safe to assume that the contract isn't all that bad.

And the divorce rate? It has less to do with schedules and more to do with who one chooses to marry in life.

Maybe, maybe not. Unfortunately it may come down to not who is the best candidate, but who is the least of the worst. Tom has disappointed many, and so has Bob. I don't trust either one of them.

What a freakin' joke. One's time would be better spent on myspace.com than looking at this circus website.

Default a joke?

Well, I guess this one is a Joke too, right?

http://www.ipaontop.org/media/2_V-fi...A_07-24-06.pdf

You seem to be the typical pilot who never in your wildest dream thought you would make 223/Hr. You must be the typical reject from Eastern, Pan Am, United, NWA, etc who wound up flying cargo and all of the sudden because of 9/11 now UPS is a great place to be! Lets not forget that before we became the IPA the pay for captain at UPS was $60,000. This place is not like FEDEX and it will never be. This is a trucking company that happens to have an aviation department and we as a group, have allowed them to give us a little more money and have accepted the first offer from a company that cheats, lies and does everything in the book to bend and distort the contract to their advantage. Why don’t you ask the company to let the IPA in the contract classes they’re giving to their schedulers right now? They’ll tell you to go **** a rope, and 24 months from now, when they have extended you to oblivion and you call your union, they’ll tell you ¨ sorry, they got us on that one¨.

We’re not even at the pre-9/11 Delta and United rates for the guys who fly the heavy jets! You must be senior, like many of the guys who voted for this POS {not counting the guys who have been in the property for 13 months and who got the same bonus than a 10 year FO who has never flown a trip of open time or taken a JA}. The bottom 60% will get screwed in less than 24 months with scheduling alone. What will happen after they fill out all the ANC with all the junior guys? We’ll have several 15 year FO´s. I really hope the age 60 goes through because several here will be 15 year FO´s. Thye got what they deserve. I hope they don’t come *****ing when they loose their medical at FO pay rate, have they check what they would get?

About who you marry, boy are you naïve…… everyone has it’s limits, don’t forget, when they leave, they take half of you stuff.

Zoro,

**Sigh**, where should I begin. Let's analyze your statement piece by piece shall we. Here we go.

You said:

You seem to be the typical pilot who never in your wildest dream thought you would make 223/Hr.
You are correct, I never thought I would make 223/hr.

You must be the typical reject from Eastern, Pan Am, United, NWA, etc who wound up flying cargo and all of the sudden because of 9/11 now UPS is a great place to be!
Actually, I've been here since before 9/11. I chose to work here based on the balance sheet numbers. By the way, you owe an apology to anyone who ever flew for Eastern, Pan Am, United, and NWA for calling them a "typical reject". Dude, do you pi$$ off everyone you meet?

Lets not forget that before we became the IPA the pay for captain at UPS was $60,000.
Historical fact, I'll agree with you on that one. Let's also not forget that our nation consisted of 13 colonies at one time as well.

This place is not like FEDEX and it will never be.
Man, you're sharp. Good observation, I should give you more credit than what I do.

This is a trucking company that happens to have an aviation department...
Another great observation. Dude, you are getting sharper by the minute.

...have allowed them to give us a little more money and have accepted the first offer from a company that cheats, lies and does everything in the book to bend and distort the contract to their advantage.
Oh no, say it ain't so!! I work for the only company on the planet that engages in these types of practices???? Oh the humanity.

Why don’t you ask the company to let the IPA in the contract classes they’re giving to their schedulers right now?
It's your idea, why don't you call them?

¨ sorry, they got us on that one¨.
That answer has been around since day one. The old administration set precedent on that one.

We’re not even at the pre-9/11 Delta and United rates for the guys who fly the heavy jets!
This isn't pre-9/11 brainiac.

You must be senior,
Not senior, and not very junior either.

The bottom 60% will get screwed in less than 24 months with scheduling alone.
As opposed to before today, when nobody ever got screwed with scheduling??

What will happen after they fill out all the ANC with all the junior guys?
Let me guess, the answer can be found on ipaontop.org?

We’ll have several 15 year FO´s.
<<YAWN>>

I really hope the age 60 goes through because several here will be 15 year FO´s.
I'm guessing you're not an optimist.

Thye got what they deserve.
Thye or they?

I hope they don’t come *****ing when they loose their medical at FO pay rate, have they check what they would get?
First of all, it's lOse, not lOOse. Second, you really should have inserted "the" between at and FO. And third, I have no idea what you are trying to convey with the last 7 words of your sentence (or attempt thereof).

Look, if you want me to try and take you seriously then you are going to have to type a little more clearly and with a little bit more emphasis on grammar.

About who you marry, boy are you naïve…… everyone has it’s limits, don’t forget, when they leave, they take half of you stuff.
Let me guess, ipaontop.org now has a marriage counseling section to it? Thank-you Dr. Phil.
