FEDEX 757's

Guys..
Why are you getting so excited about adding another narrow body aircraft to your fleet? I agree it's a pilot's airplane (unlike the french models), but it will only lower your overall pay average even more.

I haven't seen the 757 pay scale addessed in the TA as some have suggested. The only new pay rate I saw is the 380 pay rate. If the 757 is mentioned in the TA, could someone post the paragraph or reference to new aircraft.
Thanks

I fly double deadhead, week long Indy turns. A TAFB trip in a 727 or one of those two man airplanes mentioned as possible replacements would pay precisely the same. My pay wouldn't change one iota.
Now if you're referring to the overall narrowbody payroll, since the engineers would be elminated, then you are correct; it would be lower. But nearly all other airlines have done this same thing a while ago.
And for the record, I'm not excited about it. A tube filled with boxes is still just a tube filled with boxes.

Section 26.K.2.
2. If the Company introduces B737 and/or B757 aircraft, those aircraft will be
considered narrow body aircraft.
