ATI CCIA merger

Oh, and by 'da way...
Why are so many otherwise decent, well meaning ATI crew members, hired before 2010 off the street BY ATI, letting so many ABX guys who where given preferential hiring and consideration and waaaaaay more pay, with no real vested interest in ATI, dictate to them?
If they're so good at "dealing with Joe Hete," why are they at ATI and thirty more ABX guys are going on the street? Personally, I wouldn't let a new hire run the show.
Remember, they still have a number at ABX to go back to, should they be furloughed. They have a safety net, you don't.
If I were you, I'm just sayin', I'd be steppin' on their necks. New hires making 12 year pay should just get along and be happy and shut their pie holes!
And, just so you ATI guys know, your MEC are just like Obama and the Democrats. You're out of money, time and business, they just won't tell you about it.

As it's been stated before, a huge issue is seniority. I recently spoke to an Airtran Captain who mentioned that in the merger with Southwest, he lost about 4 1/2 years of seniority. He's also getting a pay raise around 30% going to the Southwest pay scales. There's a lot of different ways to merge the list, but do you Cappy guys think you shouldn't lose any seniority at all for the big pay raise?

I'm assuming there are some very senior crewmembers at ATI, considering the airline has been around since the late 1970's. Capital is a fairly junior airline where crewmember's hire dates start in the mid to late 1990's. Does anybody know for sure the method the MECs will use to integrate the lists? Many people are saying they will use DOH method.
At my prior workplace I lost seniority when my company was merged with another. Look at Northwest/Delta, AA/TWA or USAir/AmericaWest just to name a few. There is discontentment among the crewmembers still. Nobody's ever really happy when seniority lists are integrated and everybody from both sides think they've been screwed somehow. Some ATI guys think this merger is only good for the CCI guys, well alot of CCI crewmembers will loose seniority here also.
Remember this is a merger, not an acquisition. I don't understand the negative attitude of some ATI crewmembers posting on this thread. Sure, CCI has had growing pains and was very close to going out of business in the past. CCI got their $hit together and has since emerged into a very healthy airline. Why do some of you suggest that you're the dominate carrier over CCI? Which airline is really taking over who? On paper, it's ATI taking over CCI, but in reality it's the other way around. Just look at ATI's senior management team now, it's all CCI people. As we all know, CM was recently removed from her position and replaced my DM. ATI is hemorrhaging money, still has LOI's with the FAA not to mention performance is in the tank. DHL hates seeing ATI on the ramp in CVG mainly because their broke aircraft do more sitting than flying. CCI has excellent performance numbers, excellent relationship with DHL and more importantly MAKING MONEY. CCI needs ATI's certificate only for the CATII, III and ETOPS. That's the reason CCI was made a "subsidiary" of ATI on paper.
Just give it some time, ATI crewmembers will experience the wrath of JV and the gang. There's no way in hell ATI would be enjoying their current payscale if they had to negotiate against current management team.
Get ready guys...your new management operates on a shoestring budget, rule by fear & intimidation and have the "shoot first ask questions later" type mentality. No integrity. Over the last year and a half at CCI, nearly 3/4 of all the Captains have been called on the carpet and Monday morning quarterbacked. We're all about to be working for the same douchebags, its a shame we must harbor ill feelings among each other as well. Like somebody else said, there will be winners and losers in the seniority list integration, but most people will loose seniority.

They are also losing the afghan flying due to not knowing what on time departure means. Just like their Sanford run for dynamic back earlier this year.. Continued loss of runs and contracts

I don't think bashing current or former ABX pilots will help your cause. We could all be merging with ABX next.
On another note, a lot of the current ATI management came from CCI. But before that they were ABX. This includes DM, JV, JJ, and the new chief of scheduling (who was never at CCI).

I think the point about the abx pilots, although it's black helicopter stuff, is that a lot of junior guys work at ATI but loyalty still remains at ABX. Would they rather see ATI succeed or lose ? If ATI went out of business those few 76s along with few contracts could be operated by ABX.

Capital brings stability solid contracts an airline in the black. 757 experience so we all get the DOD contracts. Why don't you open your eyes a little more and less flapping of that foolish pie hole.
