Note to FDX 777 pilots

Now that I think about it..... A grimace really isn't a disparaging expression. I think of it as the look on the over-60 Captain's face as he works out his flatulence issue in the corner of the Jet Lag while pretending to examine the PanAm pictures

No they were grimaces. As a professional pilot for over ten years now I have learned one thing. The vast majority of pilots I have met and interacted with have a chip on their shoulder or have some sort of superiority complex. I learned this the hard way when I tried to strike up a conversation with some Continental captain many years ago. He thought his excrement smelled like Chanel #5 and let me know under no uncertain terms he was too good to waste his time talking to me. Whatever happened to just being decent? Most of these guys get into flying due to an inferiority complex or maybe a small penis. Keeping that in mind that pretty much explains the less than admirable behavior and lack of class some of these clowns have. Just sayin.
The Continental captain must have been on the scab list.
And OBTW, what are you doing comparing penis sizes? You must be spending too much time hanging out in the MSP heads with that senator from Idaho.
Get some longer layovers and relax.

What ever "may" have been said to your kid, you lost all credibility with this. Your experience is way outside the norm.

This is great! Maybe that Captain was a scab who knows but for the record, maybe my comments were a little harsh but I did enjoy the responses. Maybe I do need to chill out but I have seen more than my share of jackasses in this field since day one. Yeah, I've also met some fine folks out there as well but they don't outnumber the tools. A kind word or a smile doesn't cost a friggin penny though. My apologies if I offended anyone. Some of you had some interesting responses. Maybe you are the ones that need to chill out get some longer layovers. Regards to all!

. Everyone knows MD-11 pilots might occasionally smirk, scoff or even frown - but they do not grimace. There might be kids around.
