No one is saying that you have to agree with me, but then again, a statement like this is part of your odd persona. You take things out of context (look up the word) to stir the pot, which makes me and several others think that you really are a troll, looking for a reaction. That, or an idiot. Both? Perhaps. You have this thing with black helicopter and panties, which was funny in junior high, but aren't you supposed to be an airbus captain? Doubt it. Not that we don't have our fair share of oddballs, but none as odd as you.
Oh, and FYI, no one says OMG but teenager girls ... and you. And even the most inept airbus captain can spell doosh, you douche.
I never flew pax and don't intend to. I simply answered a question about the corporate cultural at fedex, and why leaving to fly passengers wouldn't be such a terrible decision.
And please, I'm a joy to fly with. But you would never know because I doubt your authenticity (keep your dictionary handy). If you were a captain, which I highly doubt, I certainly know your type. All of your inane jokes are totally hilarious, and everyone takes themselves way too seriously, ROTFL (that's: rolling on the floor laughing, but you already knew that .. OMG!). You're the fun guy, Mr. Popular, ready to laugh at the drop of a hat. You're the guy who says that people make this job more difficult than it needs to be, that's you. Or would be, if you did, in fact, belong. You have glasses, gray hair and bad teeth, subsequently bad breath (but this is a safe bet). Oh, I could go on, but this is starting to feel cruelly spot on, and remember, I'm a charm.
Then again, I could be wrong. So please, don't get your panties in a wad. Ha ha. Oh My God, I'm so funny! Am I right, or am I right? Right?

Okay internet tough guy. You are so easily trolled. What a tool indeed. But please, keep writing me long missives on a public forum that no one (but you) care to take the time to read. No one likes flying with you and I obviously hit a nerve. But please, keep on, you doosh!

Don't really see a reason to get nasty about any of this. Though after flying another all nighter I'm in a crummy mood too.
I have no problem with someone legitimately time stamping me, happens all the time, even though I check open time constantly. I do manage to enhance my schedule greatly, but it comes with a price.
As far as OTP, on the Airbus we're lucky if we get 6 hours in OTP every couple of months, so I can't imagine anyone is recycling OTP much in our seats. Almost never see a charter, so it leaves me to believe that we rarely have them. If, however, I found out that we had many (non flight test) charters, and the same guys were managing to get them all the time....that would be grossly suspicious. And I would want the union to demand that scheduling and management do some follow up. I would be pretty ****ed off if I was an MD-11 guy and this was happening all the time, with the same guys, for years.
Sure, many people can make their schedule far better. But charters every month for years? If that is true--that's fishy.

I few with J.S. about a year ago. He was the RFO and this was before he blocked his calendar. I usually check the calendars of the guys I'm flying with to see if they have been on vacation, maybe don't fly much international, etc. When I looked at J.S.'s calendar I was shocked! I kept going back month after month and then into the previous year! I bid around 15% in the right seat of the 11 and I could only dream of flying the schedule I saw J.S. flying month after month. First thing I said to him when the Capt went back for his rest period was "so you're a BOT guy". Of course he denied it and gave me all kinds of "I hawk open time" and a lot of other B.S. I just left it at, "you must be the luckiest guy at Fx then" and quit listening to his B.S. Thing is, in the last year I hear his name come up on almost every flight I fly. The 11 FO's, and a lot of the Capts, know who he is and I have seen a dramatic increase in the level of "****ed". I know a lot of guys are starting to call their reps about it. Maybe if enough of us shake the cart something will fall out.
