(Many would consider that a redundant statement.)

I do not know of any Airbus operator that sets MDA in the FCU and it is not the Airbus way to do it either.
This is based on the premise that if you see the runway at MDA you do not want the guidance to command a level off , or if you go-around you want the guidance to command a pitch up not level flight.

In case you didn't notice the earlier posting, the Captain's training record was disclosed as a part of the public docket. For many of us who don't research all the available information, this information was illuminating.

AFLoserville is a retired NURP and EaL scab, that's of course IF he is who he says he is (Von R). If that's the case, I had the displeasure of flying 2 legs with him on IOE when I transitioned from the MD11 to the 75/76 and he could not shoot a visual approach on a severe clear day. He completely freaked out when the didn't vector him onto the LOC and he couldn't use the flight director. This was on a sunny afternoon flight.
Could. Not. Shoot. A. Visual. Approach. On. A. Sunny. Afternoon...
Let that sink in the next time he touts his qualifications and experience.

When combined with a SCAB (like that Jeff Goldblum movie "The Fly"), forms a sub-human hybrid of dishonor, back stabbing, cowardice and betrayal unhindered by conscience, regret or concern for anyone but himself.
What some refer to as a sociopath...in this case one that (based on first hand testimony) can't fly his way out of a p*##ed on paper bag, and then has the nerve to pass judgements on the dead unable to defend themselves.

In the end, anyone reading this post who thinks it could never happen to them probably doesn't have a lot of experience flying. Crap can happen so quickly in this business.
If fatigue was a contributing factor in this accident, which nobody will ever know for sure, then it was due to personal voices in how the layover was used. The NTSB hearing made it clear that there was sufficient layover time in the published and flown schedule to be on one's A game.

Sideshow, you spelled judgment wrong. You apparently work out at Planet Fitness. Have you ever considered anger management classes? You seem wound up tighter than an eight day clock.

Gotta love masterminds like you who make less than no cogent point, and on top of that blow the basics. Beyond all that, scabs are not worthy of any consideration in the first place, and are little more than human debris.
Back to Burger King genius...
