I think you should probably be careful before calling somebody a terrorist. There have been some jokes in this thread, and some not so funny posts, but calling me a terrorist is crossing the line. It's not just below the belt but it's flat out unintelligent. You think I'm the only innocent person on this planet that just has a curious fascination with aviation operations? It's just absurd to make that assertion about me being a terrorist. It's really caused me to lose a lot of the interest I had in purple planes too. I saw one landing today...DON'T WORRY, I will NOT say when or where...I realize that could clue the terrorists out there in...but anyway upon seeing one land today I just thought of all the employees who have really been down right rude and it made me less interested. Again, not answering is one thing, but taking shots at me and calling me a terrorist is just above and beyond unnecessary.

Anyway since it's beyond obv at this point that nobody believes me, rather than seeing this pathetic thread go on and longer by me trying to prove my innocence, I know a way I can kill it much more quickly. I'll just play into your absurd fears. I tried to get info from you guys but you're all such solid, noble men...heroes actually! The CIA has a place for all of you! And if and when you encounter any door to door "salesman", he is actually a foreign spy. Oh wait, you already knew this. And I trust you know not to trust the checkers at your grocery store too. Don't ever pay using your credit cards under ANY circumstances either. Cash only, and wear sunglasses when you shop, even if it's at 11pm!
You've all passed the test! I thought somebody would leak info to me but I was sadly mistaken.
Now, go get yourselves a cold one. I fear some of you really could use one. lol
And I'll go back to my mothership now and look for new victims. Darn you sealed lipped purple people!!! Our services have really trained you well. Dare to think out of the box boys! LMAO
G'night mates!

James, if you are still lurking, I have a question. You claim to have been a Nav in the AF in this thread and then in another say you haven't flown since getting your PPL at 18 - which one is it?
When you say this kind of stuff people start to question you intentions! If you truly are just an aviation geek looking for information to satisfy your curiosity - you need to keep your story straight. Now that your cover is blown don't expect any more answers to your generic questions

Do you not understand the English language very well? I would think someone in your profession would know that Navs don't actually fly planes. I got my PPL at age 18 with the intent for flying in the USAF. Didn't make pilot, only Nav. I never flew again once I started college. Did you really need me to spell that out for you?
And I'm not lurking btw. I just had the browser open and before closing it I saw your post. I am closing it now and I have no intentions of ever opening it again. It's just so beyond retarded.
And to be completely frank, after hearing some of the comments by the alleged FDX pilots in this thread, the events of Flight 705 really aren't surprising to me anymore.

Both! You aren't very imaginitative are you? I would think someone in your profession knew that Navs don't actually fly planes. I got my PPL at age 18 with the intent for flying in the USAF. Didn't make pilot, only Nav, hence I haven't flown since I was 18. Did you really need me to spell that out for you?
And I'm not lurking btw. I just had the browser open and before closing it just now I saw your post. I am closing this for now and really have no intentions of every opening it again. It's just so beyond retarded.

"I love flying. I obtained my PPL while in HS, then got heavily into athletic competition in college, and played minor leagues for a while before letting go of that dream. By then I needed money so I took a 9-5 office job. 10 years later I'm still at the office and regretting never pursuing aviation every time I see an airline buzz over. To further add to this sorrow, there's a retired UAL captain at my weekly poker game, and he talks about how he loved and misses his career every day (especially pre 9/11)."
Doesn't mention a stint in the AF and talks about a 9-5 job that you are still at! Somewhere else you claim to be a professional "online poker player" and have been unemployed for 10 years!
Your story just doesn't add up but I'm sure you will again point out how "unimaginative" I am yet we all are so imaginative that we think you have nefarious intent with all your questions.
Why don't you seek out the retired UAL Captain and ask him for info. I'm sure he knows someone that knows someone at FDX and they can answer all your questions once they know who you really are!
Your comment about flight 705 is totally uncalled for and speaks tons about your maturity!

I have no problems at all answering any of those questions. But since you guys can't even tell me whether or not IND is a hub of FDX, I feel we have a one way street here. Communication lines have been severed. I already said I will not be asking questions any more. Leave a brother alone now. I even said while I don't agree with your collective level of paranoia about my super general, easy to obtain inquiries, that I respected your decisions not to share with me. But yet you still feel the need to rip me. You all act as if I've robbed your homes and slept with your wives. So much negativity. Are your lives really that bad??? If I didn't want to answer these questions I just wouldn't. But to hop on here and throw darts at me for being geeked up about your jobs/routes flown really reveals more about you and your bitterness in life. Chill out. Not everyone is out to get you. And in other breaking news, not all mechanics are crooks.
This is a written format domain in a very specific trade (my doctor, lawyer and hooker friends remind me by definition there are only three TRUE "professions"). It's not an Oprah chat room or a private pilot forum.
But me thinks thou doth protest, if not pout too much. You now say the information you want is easy to get and that's the only reason you were here, so there and now you have it.
Sticking around here pouting and contradicting yourself in such a verbose (albeit mildly amusing) fashion could be likened more to self abuse than a quest for knowledge.
At least get some virtual Astroglide...it looks like this hurts...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Oh Maxy, you (and others) were being royal delta bravos (douche bags) to me long before you knew my story didn't "add up". Btw you can be a professional poker player and have a 9-5 job at the same time believe it or not if you're willing to play poker on nights and weekends. And my not mentioning my stint in the USAF doesn't mean it didn't occur. 18-22 college, 22-26 USAF, 26-29 minor leagues, 30-present office job/poker. I haven't held the same office job for the entire 10 years. There were significant periods of unemployment.

I was going to give this thread a rest, but the comedic value is just too damn high atm.
