If bm is wearing a lanyard I assume he is paying dues?

Look under non members subject to agency shop....he is there. And, I would suggest that everyone copy and paste all lists to a word doc and keep handy on whatever device is in your pocket.

http://crewroom.alpa.org/alpa/Deskto...dxReports.aspx

If he is a non member like the list says, and he is wearing his ALPA lanyard, I would hope that in its next communication to the pilots, the MEC would state emphatically in bold letters that he is a non member. I would only hope....

He quit ALPA so he didn't have to pay dues on his big bonus. But, alas, that's not what the contract says. He has to pay the back dues on the bonus or be subject to termination. He has to pay in full on order to be a member again. Not sure how much he's paying each month. But I'm sure it's something.

Then he should be shown on the dues check off list, I would think.

You haven't looked in a while. The DCO is for non-members not subject to agency shop. He isn't on DCO, because that is a voluntary program.

What this whole issue tells me is that he is a very petty person. He got a job under section ten of the contract and then wants to whine about having to pay his dues from a bonus.

Wasn't he a Union Officer (Negotiating Committee Chairman)? Now he's not paying his share of dues? I'm speechless!*?

True colors. That's your Just Culture right there. I think the next motto needs to be Zero Integrity.

So the question still is if I'm paying my fair share of dues to wear an alpa lanyard, why is he wearing one if he isn't paying his fair share?
