UPS should be your last choice if nothing better comes along. It's not the worst pilot job in the world, but choosing UPS over United, Delta or AA is a bad career decision if you ask me. You'll be junior here forever, and there is really nothing that I can identify in the future for this trucking-company-airline that makes me think it will get any better.
No growth at all, in fact, we are actually shrinking. NURPS taking captain slots out of seniority order. Full assault on the contract daily. Ugh, I can go on and on but why bother. Just pick a better career airline.. Wish I wouldve.

If you read the Delta threads, there are FOs in the 5-6 year range making that with their "green slips/rolling thunder". Some FOs have said they make as much as you.

Best advice to outsiders considering a job at UPS is to talk to guys already here. Jumpseat through our sort and pull up a chair. Don't make a decision based on anonymous disgruntled people's views on this forum. Lots of negativity!
UPS is a great job overall. The pay is eye opening- most F/Os I fly with make about 180-220K. I made over 300 in '14.
The men and women I fly with all enjoy their work generally and people that they fly with. If you choose a career here, you and your family will do well.
Peace out-

Only works if you are pretty senior in the seat. I was there 7 years and never had a green slip, not even close to rolling thunder.

How long have you been here...in another thread you referenced "short time", so have you put in your apps with the legacies? If not, why not? If I was as unhappy as you appear to be, I would be selling insurance or used cars before I would stay at a job that I hated.
Not trying to stir the pot; if you're actually past V1 at ups, I pity being you and feeling like you do for the rest of your flying career. Life is too short to be totally unhappy as you appear to be in your posts.
Frats,
