not doing well at all, the TA that just came out is industry leading if you want the bottom which apparently they are heading rapidly along with their flight attendants which already arrived at the bottom.

Isn’t Spirit ALPA?

Man MM, what is your problem. You and Bubba got a thing for bashing FA's. At least Bubba does it to their face. You on the other hand.....

As for our FA's, for a group of about 25 negotiating their FIRST contract I think they did OK. Please leave them out of your little rants.

It is what it is....proves how much they left on the table and i'm sure the FA's at other airlines don't appreciate their lousy efforts. They lowered the bar for all future contracts. That is the issue.

Wow. This thread is what happens when you don't have enough communication between the group and union leadership, you don't expect aging union busting tactics, you don't know what you're worth as professionals in your field, you have undiagnosed Stockholm Syndrome, you negotiate in the open, and the company sees all of this, takes advantage of all of the above and goes straight to the membership.

You don't get what you deserve or what you're worth; you get what you negotiate. I feel bad for your NC. It sounds like they were really trying to get you what you're worth, but you guys fell for the company tactics without pause, and took any leverage they had and squashed it as soon as possible. The conditions were right to demand what you're worth, but you need solidarity. I hope the hiring market gives you guys another chance to get it right when your hiring team struggles to fill classes. Major shift needed, though. Otherwise it'll be more premature you-know-what.

Best of luck to you guys/gals.

Is this thread about Omni?

Not really. Trolls got here quick this time.

Hence my post. Anything Omni and they’re quick to make it about themselves. Unfortunate. Real (Omni) discussion is lost amongst the noise.

Here is a question about Omni to try and get this thread back on track. If the pilot group passes the TA will Omni become the new golden child, replacing K4, for people looking to get into non-sched operations? what I'm really asking is, after K4 got their new contract they got flooded with applications and the hiring mins shot through the roof. I have been looking at Omni for a little while now but am just short or the PIC time required. I'm worried that once this deal goes through I won't be anywhere close to the new hiring mins if hey jump like K4's did. Do you guys see this happening or not so much?

Reading through the proposed changes on the Omni website...
It says "Entitled to Guaranteed Days Off (GDO)" as a new benefit.
Not flame bait here at all, but were FOs not guaranteed days off before?? I mean, what does this new benefit actually mean?

Also, what's the amount of GDOs under the TA?

Thanks!
