Uh......I'm going to go with the other posters that responded to you on this one.....How is asking a PRIA question in your eyes is "mean spirited", "insulting", and "bigoted"? (sigh) ok then...moving on.

If getting a job, ANYWHERE, is the goal.....who cares what or how they ask(as long as it is legal), just suck it up and play the game. If you don't like it, you just walk. So, to post on a web forum and contribute to an already convoluted and contentious atmosphere and furthermore to perpetuate infighting between union members is.....how do I put it......."mean spirited". I know "exactly what you are insinuating". "No reading between the lines needed" here.

And fyi, I'm Atlas....isn't Soaper at ABX?

Troll.

PRIA requires that a hiring air carrier under 14 CFR parts 121 and 135, or a hiring air operator under 14 CFR part 125, request, receive, and evaluate certain information concerning a pilot/applicant’s training, experience, qualification, and safety background, before allowing that individual to begin service as a pilot with their company.

Maybe that was your problem.

You're being WAY too sensitive here. I too worked overseas and in management at that. Yes, some major overseas carriers do not respond to PRIA requests, or are inconsistent at best. Their question was valid, although very true you have no input as to whether they do or do not respond. Do yourself a favor and move on because you look really petty.

But a foreign carrier in many cases cannot legally respond to a PRIA request, PRIA holds no weight outside the US.

And the feds acknowledge that by requiring the US carrier to ask but the foreign carrier need not respond.

Also... why do any posts involving Atlas on this forum degenerate at the speed of smell?

I never said “you must be Management...”. I dug through my old posts. You accidentally misquoted me.

Same thing happened to the Omni posts when we were getting close to a TA. It's not just Dave.
