Your missing the point (Not surprising). Even if iAero did EVERYTHING and more than AA, the pilots don't trust you've got our best interest in mind. Why? (Glad you asked) Because we have a complete lack of leadership in Flt Ops. That means COO, DO and CP, I saw numerous junior NCOs and Officers in the military with far superior leadership ability than anyone in GSO, pathetic.
What should be our front line leader (CP) is a self aggrandizing, incompetent, self serving bully. Even his few so called 'friends' agree he's over his head and doesn't know what he's doing, in or out of an airplane.
His preferred method is to scream and yell to shut down anyone he feels threatened by, specifically anyone he knows he can't BS. It's all he knows, like I said: 1 trick pony

Do you guys and gals really believe that anything you type here is going to change how he acts or responds? You waste time here being negative about something instead of doing good. Are you guys all calling out from work every day until you feel safe? Are you taking precautions at work if you are coming in? Complaining that a flight isn't safe because you don't feel protected but still flying anyway solves nothing. That isn't going to make things change.

Spend this downtime updating your resumes and enjoying the time with your family. I don't understand what you hope to achieve by not only bashing the Chief Pilot but also his girlfriend. Personal attacks on women who didn't say or do anything to you seems highly immature and inappropriate. I am hoping that how people act in this thread is because of the keyboard warrior safety in anonymity and I truly hope you guys and gals are better and kinder to the people you interact with in your daily lives. We can all do better.

Thanks for the counsel and instruction. The CP wasn't the only one mentioned, he was just singled out because he's our first rung on the ladder, and we might as well have no one in the CP position because he's so unbelievably incompetent and ignorant.

My frustration is we have NO ONE that I can see that is capable of leading, just a bunch of self serving micro MANAGERS. We need someone, Fn anyone in GSO to step up and and start doing the right things. It was frustrating during the 'good times', now it's scary because of what's going on.

This is my last stop in aviation, if it doesn't work out here I'm done. If we furlough I'll be one of the first kicked out the door, and the idea that even if I have an adult conversation with the CP I have no idea if he's lying (he's famous for lying and making shot up).
The darts headed his direction on here are because we know he trolls on here pretending to be someone else.

I understand where you are coming from on that but unless something comes across the HRs desk or somebody above the CP ( who you and others feel can't be trusted ) then nothing will ever happen to him. There is a chance that if he gets investigated slightly or has to at least come to HR and talk about his behavior or some incidents that can be backed he might at least have to change some of how he is acting. If the only place people are complaining is here then nothing is ever going to change. He will remain in position and continue to talk down upon people as he sees fit because he knows nobody is going to say anything to anyone that matters to him.

Maybe there is a way to do it anonymously where you don't send the email from your swift/iaero address. I am not trying to pressure you into anything but if you feel like this is your last stop and you are worried about being laid off, it might not help you, but it could help future pilots who work for him if you were to officially report some issues on your way out if it comes to that.

Without the attempt at least, nothing changes. But again, I do understand the fear of reporting issues at your current employer due to backlash regardless of what anyone wants to say about it. Just something to think about.

Oh and GM, you've always sucked as a person and a pilot. Shame on you. Hope you understand the fact, that when all of this is over YOU will not find a decent job anywhere in this industry. And you did it to yourself. No one else did it. You and your Napoleon Syndrome. How many fake profiles do you have anyway?
Second that! G is trying - (hard) to get out of Swift. Too bad for him that other airlines/large corporate actually run background checks and PRIA. What a POS.

Edit*Just an idea on little Napoleon. While I agree that “complaining” on here won’t do much, it actually helps the pilot group realize they aren’t alone dealing with this clearly incompetent little guy. At the end of the day, SMS program guarantees whistleblower protection and reporting without fear of retaliation? Someone look that up - call his bluff and submit a hotline - whistleblower complaint to the feds.

What is stopping you from being the person who makes the difference on the CP and submitting a hotline complaint? Why leave it up to somebody else instead of just doing your part?

because he’d rather someone else put it all on the line so he can hide behind his keyboard.

Are Swift aircrews getting any percentage of the $31 billion in grants allocated for airline industry workers?

Looks union related from a quick glance. What does the article say, Gary?
