Are you still getting full pay for the next few months? Did they move up your vacation time early before your normal time so you could take some time off? Are you able to take an LOA for 60-90 days and come back to work and have the LOA easily approved?
im still being paid with absolutely no obligation to my new company, for how long no one knows but at least I’m not sitting in a hotel for no reason

i am very surprised Swift is making it through this and management has not involuntarily furloughed, props to them. I will say leaving Swift for the company I’m with is night and day in communication.

I think communication is key whether good or bad but just stick to the facts.

David,
I like every former pilot know that it could truly be the place to be. If we didn’t bang two planes in Europe it would have happened. Jeff and Boris need to decide what kind of airline you will be. Not rule by fear and intimidation and god do I have stories and yes they were recorded, pick something and do it. If you keep up this mush mash and poor training it’ll be worse. Become a real airline dammit and don’t threaten pilots for not flying in VERY dangerous situations.

Was specifically asking the person I quoted but thank you for taking the time to reply. I am happy your company is continuing to take care of you for the time being and I hope it continues through this process. It sucks what this virus has done to everyone.

We haven't been pushing anybody to fly in dangerous situations. This is one of the reasons we have had crews on standby at different points. We know people don't enjoy it but at the same time any time a FME, Pilot or Flight Attendant has been concerned about flying we have other crews replace them who are willing. And this has not been a punishment to those who didn't want to fly. They are still being paid. The people who took their spots did not get extra money to do so. We are trying to operate and keep things going while also attempting to be safe and diligent during this process. If you or anyone else has constructive feedback on what else we could still be doing right not to accomplish these things on top of what we are already doing, feel free to suggest them in a constructive way. For those that want to bash without backing up what they are saying or just make assumptions or just attack me... you are doing no good and accomplishing no change.

what’s HILARIOUS is I know from first hand experience you’re lying. It was Boris. The plane wasn’t airworthy but hey just fly it at 8k in the ice (broken system). Capt and I were both punished

Look at the post above about retaliation, I didn't wake up stupid. Why do you think no one trusts you, you're acting as a company spokesperson using somebody else's name, but you're smack talking pilots posting their honest concerns on here.
I'm me, and you ain't DS
