Why does this stuf continue to happen
I am completely lost as to what's really important here at this company. Instead of talking about Safety, we are sniping at each other, we are talking about bid lines, crew bases. While incidents like the pictures above continue to happen. Has anyone taken a minute to ask themselves personally, looking back over the past year. The amount of incidents, near misses, close calls, air returns, tail strikes, investigations of alleged records being changed. These things are NOT happening in a vacuum. For a company this small, we have had too many of thes problems. It's not about the company's survival, we will not survive after having to pick up the pieces from a smoking hole in the ground.
A few weeks ago a person with the handle DavidSpeaks said that he would bet a months salary, that nothing will change. Just think about it, are you hoping and praying that nothing will happen/go badly wrong each time you climb into the Cockpit, sign the release as the last stop before departure. No, HELL NO, that should NOT BE...
WHY, WHY, do we have a Dir. Maintenance, Dir. Safety, Dir. Quality Control, Dir. Operations. Why do we have 119's that can't convince the BVL, JC, and others that we are in a bad place. What company SAFETY CULTURE will allow ** to come on here and boldly proclaim that nothing will change. Guys, Gals, Captiains in particular, your license, your life, and that of your passengers, and yes. even the company's survival longterm depend on those I mentioned above. Obviously, they have failed us all.
I could only... yes, hope and pray that iAeroGroup removes these people. They are NOT helping us, the are hurting us. Send your concerns, complaints to iAeroGroup, and to the Hot Line. This ** cannot continue.

Talk to the FAA and give your evidence. If its valid they will look into it. If its just your word without valid proof its going to do nothing. If you think writing on Airline Pilot Forums is going to alert the FAA or alert the managers at Swift that things need to be looked at I have a bridge to sell you.

The hiring crisis is over for good, or at least for a long time. With all the furloughs that are about to be coming this fall, they will not have any trouble finding people who need a job. The company is saving money by not having to worry about getting people to work, or get them home after the rotation is over. They didn't do this when the labor market was tight, now when they know people have no where to leave to anymore for a long time, they can do what they want. I mean, what else did you expect from them?

So what you’re suggesting is just to ignore it or face the unemployment line?

Ignore what? That’s a big deal what if it’s not a maintenance issue and it’s a defect, could affect other acft at any fleet. Those guys are lucky it wasn’t further back in the vertical stabilizer, could have become another AA over Jamaica.

DavidSpeaks said that he needs proof. Well, if we haven't ( our Pilots ) and especially the 119's seen enough proof by now, then what's left to be seen. A smoking hole in the ground. WOW....

The problem here is the users here are only complaining here. They aren't going to the FAA or to the DoS to air their complaints. Complaining on a very slow forum isn't going to get the change you are hoping to see.

Its also well known that the FAA has recieved numerous hotline reports and nothing was done. That might be on the FAA, but pilots don't just come on here to complain. We're complaining on here because we know that even reporting it to the FAA yields zero results, and we absolutely don't trust the 'system' which includes management to do the right thing.
Who are you writing these posts to? Yourself? For FAA consumption? How long did it take for the FAA to start looking into 117 violations? They literally threatened to for years.
Again, noone would agree with your assertions, so who are you writing these for?
