And Swift is doing this out of the kindness of their soul.
REEAAALLYYY.
I am just hoping that iAero will use this down time to get rid of the dead weight from the top in GSO.
Richard Branson always says that its about his "PEOPLE", when speaking about any of his companies.
With Swift, it hasn't been, nor will it ever be about " THE TEAM ".
NOT EVEN CLOSE

"Almost all staff have accepted unpaid leave"
That is taking care of the people. He could pay them during this time. But its not about people, is it? It's about profit.

"I hope people lose their jobs" is basically what you wrote. We get it. You're a disgruntled former employee who enjoys spending time being ultra negative online. Not every department has the same culture at iAero. Don't hope for change. If you want change actually do something about it to make it happen. Hope is a terribly stupid strategy.

In my post, I stated EXACTLY, PRECISELY, who I thought should loose their jobs.
I am NEITHER, disgruntled nor FORMER. But you are right about one thing.
I am seeking that change.

Lose* their jobs.
Loose is like a tooth that is coming out or the change in your pocket.
Also, what are you doing that is actually going to contribute to any sort of real change? It is difficult to take you seriously when you have commas and periods all of the place where they aren't needed or other punctuation is better suited. I am also right about profit. I noticed how you had no response at all about that.

The FAA couldn’t find a hole in the ground if they fell in it head first.
You mean like the FAA inspector who said he was going to watch the gear come down on a cj6a not knowing it was a pneumatic system powered by an 800psi scuba bottle so it came down within a half a second and ended up about an inch from his face?

There is a SAFO that's already been amended. While it is just a SAFO and not a regulation yet, most airlines have taken this joint FAA and CDC info almost verbatim. All crew members must be familiar with this guidance and I'm more than happy to share.

Usually when the cops come around, people get amnesia. But this is different. Those caught up in the investigation (s) are cooperating, saving their own hide. Some who left, or were pushed, are happy to cooperate. Those of us still here and want to see change have dropped their dime(s).
Mechanics, especially those in MIA are especially at risk of licence action. They were able to change flight and duty time records, but log books can't be changed, or hidden. Those mechanics involved are cooperative. Same thing for the Mechanics that were fired, or resigned back in February.
Cabin crew have submitted many ASAP'S, have dropped many dimes, not only on Maintenance problems, but crew scheduling. Those who have left, and some still here. The Cops have come armed with information on where to find the crimes, and the ones responsible. We will see if it all goes under the rug. But from what I have seen, heard. This will be different.

I'd say it's convenient for both parties. Pilot is granted UNPAID leave and is now safe at home. Airline doesn't pay the pilot, less but momentary overhead. Additionally pilots have a "guarantee" of a job up until September,
