Depends. Is he the kind who is inclined to skydive without a parachute? If so, then yes, go to swift/iaero/name-of-the-week.

If not, stay and upgrade at the regional. Embrace peanut butter. It's healthy. And endorsed by Annette Funicello.

6 to 18 months ago, I would have said absolutely not. With the firing of snakes 1 and 2, and the new management team, I am cautiously optimistic. The new president is communicating with the union (ALPA)and meeting regularly with them to work on consistent improvements (MOU/LOA) prior to section 6. There is evidence that the "handcuffs" have been taken off middle management allowing them to do what they feel is the proper thing to do. I've been here a long time, and have seen the good, bad, and ugly. It's going to take some time for this company to make the 180 degree turn, but my fingers are crossed .

I know nothing about the place, but the 2 pilots I know who went here, went because they were fired from regionals. 1 days before flowing to AA. The rumor was sexual harassment.

Upgrade, update your apps and go to your dream carrier.

I've heard there was some turnover with the higher-ups. Hopefully some new blood will help this place along a better path.
Despite the horror stories that I've heard (and read), have their been any QOL improvements? Has Scheduling/Lines gotten better?

I have my apps out, I appreciate the Feedback.

Incremental as of now, but no improvement yet re scheduling. This is a hot button topic for the MEC. One big problem is we are extremely understaffed. There is talk of how to reverse the flow, and attract quality. They are going to have to start hammering out a few key items fast

For Swift/IAero to ever be competitive in the job market they’d need to mimic SunCountry/Regionals/ULCC.
I dare say I’m not going to see that happen anytime soon despite the ejection of BvL and JC.
It would require a complete rewrite of their business plan as in not be a NW36th street scumbag run airline.

Here it is boss, latest revision to the business plan. Changed all the 36 St. scumbag references to Martha's Vineyard.

Some guys get the Flyers. Others the Charlestown Chiefs. Play nice

Talking Those weren’t the only two

People being the reason why people left in droves. There are 737 drivers that would come but certain individuals in check and training will keep people from coming or run them off. They are short for a reason and the departure of the former owners was just one.
