Info on Ryan International?
#21
Hey buddy, I just went to their website and it was accepting apps for FO's on the Mad Dawg. I flew with alot of these guys back in the 90's in the USPS/Emery days. Great people. The website is very user friendly if you have decent PC skills. Resume needs to be in DOC or DOCX format. Follow the instructions carefully and it will fill out the app for you. Good luck!

Where does it say that for the 767/MD80? See another dispatcher spot opened up. Seems like a high turnover there. I guess a few guys left UA for them and some came back like a year later. Dealt with them a few times for IROPS, in addition to having had an eye on them for a while. Seems like a really cool company.
** This is all that I can recall **
The MD83 has 153 seats and usually spends its time in AEX. Their 757 (N526NA) went AOG in ORD, once, while on a sub-service and then it went AOG for like 10 hours in MBJ the next day on a second sub-service. They fly the pi$$ out of that plane. They have one non-ETOPS 767 (N125DL) but it pulls its share of DOD flying. Usually stops in YQX and/or KEF. The rest of the 767s and the 757 are 180 minute birds. The 777s went to Omni (had a few ex/retired AA 777 pilots heading up that program).
Please correct me if I'm wrong on anything.

Mostly correct. There are two non-ER planes (120DL/123DN) and four ERs.
Omni undercut Ryan for the 777s they have now; Ryan is getting two 777s from Egypt.
All MD-80 slots have mostly been filled. They will look at your resume for the Boeings if you have previous big Boeing/international experience.

the two jets from Egypt Air are now a package deal for five jets and have to buy all five -- don't know if Ryan wants five jets

I understood that only three sister ships were open for lease/sale, not five. I really don't care if they (Ryan) get all three of them, or five, or a Baker's Dozen....
The more, the merrier.
If Omni had the cash to buy them outright, then good for them. It is "just business."
