Just finishing up Omni B767 training. My small group started class on June 2. OE is slated to begin for me following the contract mandated 48 hrs off at home. Omni training is very good but it's a real endurance test.
I was previously typed on both aircraft types when hired. I'm sorry to report that I have heard nothing regarding new classes. There is a humor about 747-400 freighters.

Also, that rumor is pretty strong. There's a lot of suspicious activity on the Tulsa end of this as well as confirmation that there is certainly SOMETHING in the works if that's not the case from the MX side.

PS I know we suck.

Btw, from the intel I've been collection 74's are all but a done deal but no statement from the company yet. It sounds like it will take a while for the legalese side of things to get them flying (i.e. FAA letters of intent, adding the type to our cert, etc.)

I left Omni in May and a few others have left since. The Madrid TDY ended last year; however the TDY language is still in the current CBA. Hopefully the pilot group can get that removed on their next CBA. As far as LAS base goes the pilots usually fly to HNL and back unless the company has training going on. There are two check airman based there and do a lot of IOE on the 767. If you are displaced for training you are pay protected and will more then likely fly out in the system. Also it's a senior base so getting based there will take a while.
