All passenger ops are done. The Lear is gone. 1 of those 7 dc9's mentioned above was a cargo bird turned pax bird and is now in the process of being converted back to cargo. 1 of the pax md-80's is heading to miami to have a cargo conversion done and will be out of commission for awhile. So for now, 6 cargo dc9's and 3 falcons. The rumor is that management was waiting till after the holidays to furlough. We shall see. I don't work there but I have friends that do and I hang out at the same airports and hotels as they do so we talk often. Glad I got away from that place.

You don't work here yet you have a very strong opinion. We are glad you and your attitude have left. We don't need it. The fact that you have mentioned a furlough is not a rumor it's a flat out lie. Management at this company wants its aircraft staffed 100% and not a single trip lost due to lack of crews. Any furlough would be a direct impact on the profit at this company.

I didn't just make up the furlough thing. I heard it from a number of USA Jet pilots that do work there. They were speculating, which is why it's called a rumor and not a fact. I like USA Jet. I enjoyed my time there. The only bad thing I have to say about the place is they have a history of furloughing anytime things get turbulent. Hopefully the new ownership has a different philosophy on the issue and doesnt furlough. I wish you guys all the best.
