Also if you are wanting a dc9 new hire slot, i think it may be more in the terms of years before we see a 9 vacancy bid, half of the da20 captains are eligable and want to bid back to 9 fo next summer.

Do everyone a favor and apply at a regional that has a signing bonus. FSDO says duty is not rest! You are on call 24/7 and don't start your duty time until you show for work.

Pay sucks and the schedule... well there is no schedule. We are all looking for the door.

They also love to tack tail end ferris and airline rides back to base on the end of 14-16 hour duty days.

the DC9 was fun, the schedule not so much,but I will be grateful to them for getting me 121 current and qualified, the 2 am phone calls were total deja vu from my DC3 days,and nights, and Saltillo,and Laredo were exactly the same.after 4 months it was time to move on.
