Aircraft on order means absolutely nothing! Orders are cancelled all the time, especially if you go out of business.

No way! If that was true, then where would all the extra airplanes go?

Wonder where the Boeings are coming from. Did not see Eastern on the Boeing website as a customer.

They go to other customers. Happens all the time.

Perhaps they are coming from leasing companies like ILFC, GECAS etc..

Aircraft orders mean nothing. Until the airplane is on the ramp AND they bring the maintenance logs inside its a fantasy.

Guess who the launch customer for the MD-90 was. Guess how many aircraft ended up on the property.

That is a lot of two-tone blue paint to get rid of.

Yet another group of supremely confident super-salesmen have managed to get approved supplemental and begun selling charters, that's right, charters; under cloak of a legendary brand name that sank in an ocean of tears over two decades ago. A purportedly meter wide spigot of Yuan will finance the venture as their bulging order book of brand new hockey stick liveried 73's and MRJ's hit the ramp. You just can't make this stuff up.

Still waiting for NG Pilot to answer some questions about the interview....

I find it odd that all of this is a big mystery. Does not give much credibility to much of what is posted here.

Yea, a little more info is needed. Relocating to MIA might be a deal breaker…..
