I went to the interview, very professional, the Normal questions. Everyone is hire as FO but train as Capt including OE, and as the capt seat is available you upgrade to capt for the first 6 classes. After the six class everyone will train as FO. Good chances that by the time you finish training you can hold the capt seat. Guarantee is 70 hours 1 year pay 110, 2nd 120, 3 =130, 4=140, 5=150. Over 85 hours is 125% and days off 150%. Junior assignment 200%. First year 5 days vacation second year 10 days & fifth year 15 days. Personal days off (PTO)5 per year. That you can use for sick days also. Medical, 401K short and long term disability, including lost of license insurance.
Second airplane by the end of June, third by July and four by August; they are expecting to have 5 aircraft by December. By February they are expecting 2 new airplane from factory due to order cancelled from other companies. According to the DO 10 B737-800 and 10 737 max on orders plus 20 MRJ. With options of up to 40. And they also plan to have a hangar running by the end 2017.
Received the call today for class on June 25 and I am taking it.
Hope this help to make futures candidates decisions .

sheers.

Blocks of time off or days scattered throughout? Home based or Mia based?

The lost of license insurance is paid half & half. The pilot group are Miami Base. And up to now they do not have a 13 day off blocks, the line are mix between work and days off. Great company hope the company do ok and grow as plan.

Any jumpseat agreements or is one required to live in Miami? Or is it like most other Miami outfits that hire only "locals"?

The Lines are combine between flying and reserve for example four days on flying to Havana and four days off, then five days on (reserve), then 5 days off, 8 days on and 4 days off. Or 7 days off, 8 days on , 6 days off and 9 days on. All depends on the amount of flying, at least into we start flying schdl lines.
The company is working on jump seat agreement at this time . And you do not need live in or to be a Miami resident in order to work for Eastern.

Coke pilot... I'm confused. A few posts back you said you were the ex chief pilot of EAL, then said you sent in your resume. A few days later you said you attended the interview. Now it sounds like you're already flying the line.

All this sounds like a pump and dump penny stock bunch of horse****e. Which is it? Between what you post and what NG pilot posts it appears you 2 have been on the inside all along and are not very forthcoming on what the real employment conditions entail. Just saying...
