Is this anywhere? I'm under the impression it's whichever is lower.

First airplane starts revenue service in April. 1 in May then subsequently 2 airplanes every month until all are delivered. Initial cadre has between selected and starts training in January

Well it will be the lower of the two until our seniority list grows to meet the 5% of United's hiring plan. A maximum of 10% of the seniority list will leave every year for United. Still yet to see a memo with those percentages but the DO mentioned it in a conference call.

I would like to see the full language of the agreement. It SOUNDS good, but one realistic expectation that brings it back to Earth is the idea that United would never let a flow through agreement cannibalize one of their regional feeders. All in all it sounds like a great agreement though, better than what any other United FFD carrier has.

Yes. The higher of the two was during the first 'chief pilot' call.

To any mil guys who are thinking of joining, just a heads up that CommutAir will turn off your pass travel when on military leave for over six days. They claim it's United's policy but all other United Express airlines do not have this policy. This is something that I wish I knew before taking the job. Good airline and great pilot group but haven't been impressed with some of their mil policies.

Hmmm, this is actually a big deal. What other mil policies are not great? And can we get this policy changed?!

I don't work for CA, but considering your new contract, UAL pref hiring, and what will likely be easy street upgrades for previously experienced ERJ pilots--any XJet FO would be insane to not head over there.

XJet guys: stop being butthurt about the slow, morally-problematic death of your airline. You guys got a raw deal (most of us also have in our careers at some point). The writing is on the wall though--and the opportunity to move on to way better things is right there in front of you.

Also I just want to say your all's new CP was a Mesa Line Check Airman while I was on the CRJ--he's a good guy you're lucky to have him.

I know of one xjt guy as of now heading over in a few weeks. He has his United interview before he starts class at CommutAir. Nice deal they have. Makes me mad I left the company ten years ago. Anybody know if they still have the no rehire policy? I did leave on good terms....as did half the company in 2004.
